Shaw & Co

Client:  Shaw & Co.

Overview: For the Bristol branch of Shaw & Co financial services Studio2c followed the brief of creating a playful atmosphere for office spaces and meeting rooms celebrating Bristol’s culture.

The meeting rooms feature a portrait of the engineer Brunel made up of 648 pin badges, including XR and Banksy pins, combining Bristol’s past with the present include plans of the SS Great Britain and photographs of the iconic harbour-side cranes.

Keeping to the playful element of this brief, Studio2c produced a lenticular based interactive artwork that changes according to the angle it is viewed from – one side shows a portrait of Bristol born theoretical physicist Paul Dirac and the other reveals his famous wave equation.
The breakout room showcases a homage of colourful artwork to Bristol associated artists including a Damien Hirst, Bansky and Lubaina Himid.
